Kanye West made his comeback performance last night at the VMAs with a visually-stimulating performance of
Runway featuring
Pusha T from the
Clipse. While some criticized the ballerinas he included (critics were apparently looking for "video hos" as a fan said on Twitter), most of the controversy surrounded his red suit, red sneakers and the man cleavage poking out of his plunging v-neck tee.
Designed by
Peter Hildago, Kanye's red suit was striking in the middle of his black-and-white set. Even his ballerina backup dancers and featured guest,
Pusha T, wore a neutral color of pale pink. All together, I thought it looked beautiful.
But I have to admit I'd look twice if a man came strolling down the street in all red (not improbable considering I live next to a
Stacy Adams shop; no shots, just being honest).
