Trend Alert: Winter White like Kate Middleton and Angelina Jolie

It may not be practical but it IS stunning. I'm talking about the hue of the moment: winter white. There's something so elegant, chic and eye-catching about the look spotted on the Burberry runway and embraced by today's red carpet fixtures like Angelina Jolie, Kim Kardashian, pint-size fashionista, Suri Cruise and Princess-to-Be Kate Middleton.















It turns the white-after-labor-day rule on its head with a warm tone of cream that's fitting for the season. When wearing winter white, look for textures like wool and cashmere and styles like long-sleeved dresses that are appropriate for the weather.






While some celebs have rocked the look with white accessories (gasp!), I prefer rich hues of purple and red that add a playful pop of color. For a clean look, nude pumps work beautifully.
